Here’s my super-simple recipe for tofu marinated in fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary, tarragon, basil, parsley, etc.).

Tofu, also known as "soy cheese," has a fairly neutral flavor. That’s why it’s often marinated before cooking, so it absorbs the flavors of the marinade you’ve chosen.

If you’re not used to eating tofu, this recipe should win you over with its delicious marinade of fresh herbs and soy sauce, as well as the toasty aromas of toasted sesame seeds.

Ingredients for Tofu mariné aux herbes

    7 ¾ oz of tofu
  • Image de sunflower oil
    1 tbsp of sunflower oil or sesame
  • Image de soy sauce
    2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • Image de garlic
    2 pods of garlic
  • Image de fresh herbs
    fresh herbs Fennel, tarragon, basil, thyme, rosemary...
  • Image de sesame seeds
    sesame seeds

Tofu mariné aux herbes : instructions

  • 1
    Cut the tofu into cubes, chop the herbs, crush the garlic, and mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
  • 2
    Let these ingredients marinate for 2 hours.
  • 3
    Cook for 10 minutes over medium heat, turning frequently.
