This Swiss chard fondue with bacon is a simple dish for anyone who isn't quite sure what to do with the bunch of Swiss chard sitting at the back of their fridge.
In fact, Swiss chard, despite all its flavor and nutritional benefits, isn’t always easy to cook for those unfamiliar with it.
This recipe will show you one of the classic ways to prepare this leafy vegetable: first blanching it in water, then sautéing it with bacon bits, and finally simmering it in chicken broth.
You can make this Swiss chard and bacon fondue using only the Swiss chard stalks (the tough, white part) and save the leaves to make an excellent Swiss chard leaf tart.

I tried it tonight. It was really good. I'll definitely make it again. In fact, I'm sending the recipe to my sister.
Delicious
