Here is my recipe for tomato and mustard tart. It’s both easy to make and delicious.

Ingredients for Tarte à la tomate

  • Image de puff pastry
    1 puff pastry or broken
  • Image de County
    125 g of County
  • Image de tomato
    4-5 tomatoes
  • Image de mustard
    1 tsp of mustard
  • Image de herbs
    herbs oregano, basil, or herbes de Provence
  • Image de olive oil
    olive oil
  • Image de salt, pepper
    salt, pepper
  • Kitchen utensils
  • Image de pie pan
    pie pan

Tarte à la tomate : instructions

  • 1
    Roll out the dough in a 28-cm pan.
  • 2
    Spread a thin layer of mustard on the bottom of the pastry.
  • 3
    Grate the cheese and spread it over the dough.
  • 4
    Slice the tomatoes and arrange them on top of the cheese in a rosette pattern.
  • 5
    Sprinkle the surface of the tart with herbs, salt, and pepper, and drizzle with a little olive oil.
  • 6
    Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 25 to 30 minutes.
