The only problem with these quenelles au gratin with tomato sauce is that there’s never enough!
Once you start tasting them, you can’t stop… this dish is simply irresistible, and at the same time very quick and easy to make.
I’m calling it a “dish” rather than a recipe because I use ready-made quenelles and jarred tomato sauce. That said, I choose high-quality organic products (you can see the brands in the photos, but no, I’m not being sponsored!).
And for the cheese, I use good-quality Parmesan and Comté sold by the slice, which I grate myself—it’s much fresher and richer in flavor, and it generates less plastic waste too!
