Bredele : instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 160–170°C (320–340°F).
- 2In a mixing bowl, thoroughly mix the butter and sugar, then add a beaten egg, the cinnamon, and the flour.
- 3Form the dough into a ball and roll it out on a floured work surface (to about 5 mm thick). If the dough is too stiff to roll out, let it rest in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
- 4Cut out the cookies with a cookie cutter, brush them with egg yolk, then glaze them with a mixture of powdered sugar and water.
- 5Bake for about 15 minutes (keep an eye on it!).



The proportions in this recipe are way off. The dough is way too sticky!! You need to double the amount of flour!
The icing is just sugar water… No measurements given!
