Here is the authentic recipe for Merveilles from my grandmother Marie-Louise. These delicious, large, thin, light, and crispy fritters, dusted with powdered sugar, have left me with unforgettable memories.
These Merveilles are very easy to make, and kids can even help out with the batter.
However, you’ll need to make sure to keep them away while they’re frying!













All it needs is a little orange blossom water and lemon zest to bring out the full flavor 😉
Delicious—the whole family loved it… It’s very easy to make if you have a deep fryer; otherwise, you’ll need to set aside a pot specifically for frying and keep oil in it, and be careful about the temperature at which you heat the oil.
