December : Introduction

December is undoubtedly the most festive and indulgent month of the year. As the cold sets in, the kitchen becomes a cozy haven where we prepare hearty, slow-cooked, and aromatic dishes. Cabbage, squash, leeks, potatoes, and other winter vegetables warm up the plates, while fruits like apples, pears, and citrus add a touch of freshness and brightness.




But December is above all the month of the holidays, with its unmissable culinary traditions: Christmas cookies, homemade chocolates, gingerbread, festive dishes like roasted poultry, chestnuts, and seafood—not to mention the Yule log for dessert. It’s a month when we take pleasure in cooking for others, sharing comforting meals, and celebrating reunions around beautifully decorated tables.

Between comforting recipes and exceptional menus, December is an invitation to savor every moment, hands in the flour and heart in celebration.
