Here is my recipe for flat green bean fritters, also known as Pataniscas de Feijo Verde in Portuguese. I discovered this dish during a cooking class in Lisbon and have made it several times since.
By the way, you may have already seen these flat green beans in Japanese dishes. They actually come from Portugal, which is said to have introduced them to the Land of the Rising Sun during the Age of Discovery.
