1) Wash the jars with soapy water

 

 

2) Rinse them thoroughly, drip them.

 

 

3) Place them on your oven's baking sheet for 15 minutes à 100-120 °C.

 

 

4) Allow to cool completely

 

5) Boil the joints or lids for 10 minutes à from the first boils. Don't forget any utensils you may need to use, such as a ladle for jam.

Your jars are now ready for your jams and preserves!

6) If you're making jam, pour the jam from the heat into the jars from the oven (everything must be piping hot to ensure good stability!). Fill the jars until there is a gap of about 5 mm at the top. Close the jars tightly and turn them upside down. Allow to cool before inverting and storing.
