However, buying pre-grated cheese rather than grating it yourself has several drawbacks. Once grated, cheese does not keep as well. Furthermore, it requires disposable plastic packaging to be sold, which is not without environmental consequences.

🤚Long live hand-grated cheese!

Invest in a variety of cheese graters and peeler-style graters. These tools will give you much more freedom in terms of cuts (ranging from shavings to thin strands), and you’ll waste far less cheese and plastic 😅
