Basmati Rice: A Rice Like No Other

Basmati rice is a long-grain rice, known for its natural fragrance and light texture after cooking. Native to the Indian subcontinent, it is immediately recognizable by its fine grains that elongate without bursting and remain well separated. Its delicate aroma, slightly floral and nutty, makes it a rice appreciated in both everyday cooking and fine dining.

Characteristics of basmati rice

Basmati rice has several distinctive features:
