Spiced Roasted Butternut Squash

  • Peel the squash and cut it in half lengthwise.
  • Remove the seeds from inside each squash half.
  • Cut the squash lengthwise into slices.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
    Place the slices in a baking dish, drizzle with oil, and sprinkle with gingerbread spices.
    Season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake for 40 minutes.
    Keep an eye on them while baking and flip the slices halfway through if necessary. The slices should come out tender and golden brown, but not burnt!
