Merveille aux Pruneaux

Instructions
Place the pitted prunes in a saucepan with the sugar, water, zest, and cinnamon, and simmer for 15 minutes over low heat.
Let the cooking syrup reduce slightly until the liquid level is just covering the prunes.
Set aside 4 prunes for garnish. Blend the prunes and refrigerate the jam.
To assemble, take a stemmed glass and start by adding a layer of heavy cream, followed by the prune jam, and finally the cottage cheese.
Place the decorative prune on top and serve.
