Cake au Foie-gras et aux figues

Ingredients

3 eggs

5.3 oz of flour

1 bag of baking powder

4.2 fl oz of whole milk

3.5 oz of grated Gruyère cheese

10.6 oz of duck foie gras or goose, canned, cooked (no need for partially cooked here!)

10 dried figs
-
1 bowl of tea

1 pinch of salt

2 pinch of pepper

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180°C (gas mark 6).
Make some tea and soak the figs in it for about 30 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs, flour, and baking powder until well combined. Gradually
stir in the warmed milk, salt, and pepper. Add the grated Gruyère cheese.
Mix well.
Dice the foie gras and figs, then stir them into the base.
Pour the mixture into an ungreased pan.
Bake for 45 minutes.
