Cake au Foie-gras et aux figues

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (gas mark 6).
    Make some tea and soak the figs in it for about 30 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs, flour, and baking powder until well combined. Gradually
    stir in the warmed milk, salt, and pepper. Add the grated Gruyère cheese.
    Mix well.
  • Dice the foie gras and figs, then stir them into the base.
  • Pour the mixture into an ungreased pan.
  • Bake for 45 minutes.
  • Enjoy it warm or cold—it’s delicious either way 😋
