Instructions
Grease the cake pan. Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 6).
Pour the yogurt into a mixing bowl. Add the sugar, then the flour, using the yogurt containers to measure the amount.
Melt the butter and add it to the mixture, along with the yeast.
Mix well until smooth.
Add the egg yolks to the mixture and set the egg whites aside in a bowl.
Add the salt to the egg whites and beat them until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the egg whites into the mixture using a spatula, being careful not to deflate them.
Fill the pan with the cake batter.
Bake for 20 to 30 minutes (test with a knife).
