1 a shot of Grand Marnier gold or blackcurrant liqueur

7 ¾ oz of butter

3.5 oz of flour

3.5 oz of sugar

4.4 oz of whole almonds Choose whole almonds that you can grind in a mortar or food processor, rather than almond flour
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 220°C.
Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices. Let them soak in the alcohol for half an hour.
Roll out the puff pastry in the dish and prick it with a fork to prevent it from rising too much. Pre-bake for 15 minutes, covering it first with aluminum foil and then with a thick layer of dried beans or a smaller pie pan.
Prepare the topping by mixing melted butter, flour, sugar, and almonds.
Drain the apples and place them on the pre-baked crust.
Spread the topping over everything. Place in the oven.
When the crust is golden brown (10–20 min), continue baking for another 30 minutes at a low temperature (150°).
