  • Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  • Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices. Let them soak in the alcohol for half an hour.
  • Roll out the puff pastry in the dish and prick it with a fork to prevent it from rising too much. Pre-bake for 15 minutes, covering it first with aluminum foil and then with a thick layer of dried beans or a smaller pie pan.
  • Prepare the topping by mixing melted butter, flour, sugar, and almonds.
  • Drain the apples and place them on the pre-baked crust.
  • Spread the topping over everything. Place in the oven.
  • When the crust is golden brown (10–20 min), continue baking for another 30 minutes at a low temperature (150°).
